Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant wanted !!

We now have some fantastic opportunities to recruit a Pharmacy Dispenser in the Southampton area.

Shifts available;

37.5 hours a week working ;

• Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 7am - 3pm

or

18 hours a week working;

• Monday - 3pm-11pm

• Tuesday - 1pm-6pm

• Friday - 5pm-11pm

Hourly pay rate - £12.10

Role Description;

• Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised.

• Seeking opportunities to engage with GP's and practice teams to promote services and items.

• Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice.

• Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.

• Tailoring conversations with every customer to ensure they leave your pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.

Essential Requirements;

• NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services/ Dispensing Assistant through a GPhC accredited course.

• Experience working in a community pharmacy, ideally with experience of using Pharmacy Manager software.

• Working NHS Smartcard.

• DBS check.
